I received a gem of a fund raiser mailing from the RNC earlier this week railing against "big union bosses, radical environmentalists and trial lawyers"(Which is posted below)
It was interesting in the sense that it is in the form of a "survey of the republican party". The mailing included a 4 page letter, the survey itself (which asked extremely leading questions) and a prepaid envelope to return the completed survey. The letter also asks for $11 to process the survey and donations as ranging from $25- $500. Now, I have to say this was not a typical mass mailing, it was a targeted mailing to Strong Republicans, most likely primary voters who donate large amounts of money... It was addressed directly to me. Now i have only lived at my present address since this February and have donated to only one presidential candidate since living there (a democrat)... I am not even registered to vote in the town yet so i have no idea how they got my name.
