The Coultergeist is at it again. The latest pronouncement from the Wicked Witch of the Right is that we should all be Christians.
Not only that, we Jews, in particular, need to be "perfected". As if Saramerica isn't already perfect enough. Sheesh! The noive of the woman!!
It doesn't take much to set Coulter on her loony, offensive way. CNBC The Big Idea host Donny Deutsch asked her what her ideal U.S. would look like.
"It would look like New York City during the Republican National Convention. In fact, that's what I think heaven is going to look like...the Democratic Party would look like [Sen.] Joe Lieberman [I-CT], the Republican Party would look like [Rep.] Duncan Hunter [R-CA]...take the Republican National Convention. People were happy. They're Christian. They're tolerant. They defend America..."
At this point Deutsch, himself a Jew, calls her on her brazen offensiveness:
DEUTSCH: So we should be Christian? It would be better if we were all Christian?
COULTER: Yes.
DEUTSCH: We should all be Christian?
COULTER: Yes.
But wait, as they say in infomercials...that's not all!
(Our own saramerica does some sleuthing on Sean Hannity's "Freedom Concert" and opens up a glorious can of whoopass on Joe Lieberman in today's Greenwich Time. - promoted by Maura)
(This has been confirmed... Lieberman will be spending 9/11 this year not with his constituents in Connecticut, but with Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, and assorted other frothing wingnuts at Six Flags Great Adventure, raising money for Oliver North's fraudulent "Freedom Alliance" 501(c)3. Apparently Hannity has been promoting Lieberman's presence at this concert for weeks. Coulter, of course, did endorse Lieberman last year. - promoted by tparty)
On Tuesday September 11, 2007 Joe Lieberman will be in Jackson, New Jersey for several hours at Sean Hannity's Fascism concert which exploits troops by diverting money into an Oliver North connected slush fund called the Freedom Alliance.
On stage are several invited guests. They include vile, hateful bigots like Bob Grant and Mark Levin, Oliver North of course, Rudy Giuliani, Joe Lieberman, and Ann Coulter.
Coulter is perhaps the most evil woman in America, having blamed Jews for the Holocaust, advocating the murder of billions across the globe, calling 9/11 widows harpies who enjoyed seeing their husbands die, and asserting that her only regret about Timothy McVeigh is that he didn't blow up the New York Times building.
If there were any questions about Joe Lieberman's sanity and independence, Joe Lieberman's attendance at this concert (on 9/11 no lesss) with Ann Coulter should be the final nail in the coffin. This information should also be used in the Collins Senate race in Maine to show how extreme and elitist both Senators are.
Please do what you all do well in letting the great people of Connecticut know about this.
Update (by tparty): Here's the full guest list from WABC's website:
Update 2 (also by tparty): Joe seemed pretty psyched about this during his appearance on Hannity's radio show from August 21st (mp3):
Hannity: "And I think we're going to see you on September 11th... I think, uh, if you don't have a vote, you will be with us..."
Lieberman: "If I don't have a vote I will be with you, and I can't wait."
As "democratic" foil for Ann Coulter, Gerstein manages to fumble this non-issue fairly badly before he's rescued by Alan Colmes. And as republican talking points go this one against Nancy Pelosi got a remarkably short shrift in the major media, almost zero, save for Fox News, the NY Post, and maybe a few others. That Gerstein should choose to be the faux donkey for Fox shows in my view how low he has sunk.
