Belated Blog For Choice

by: tessa

Every Child Should be a Wanted Child
I missed the midnight deadline for this year's "Blog for Choice" Day, but my heart is in the right place (several inches below my face).

Having got that rhyme out of the way, I will say that I have written and rejected three different diaries for the occasion.

And.More.Again.

And when you've
given all you had
And everything still turns out
Bad, and all your
secrets are your own
Then you feel your heart beating
Thrum-pum-pum-pum

Here is what I have come up with:

Rosie Fund

One - Accidents Should Not be Tragedies

Please send a check right away - today - to "The Rosie Fund" PO Box 6205, Hamden, CT 06517  or donate online at

Network for Good
.

The Rosie Fund provides the much needed financing for women and girls who want or need abortions but have no payment options available.
NB: This is a tax-deductible donation.

You are every father's dream for her daughter to marry. You are every brother's wish for her sister to live her life with.

From Blue Gal:
The pro-life protesters were asked about whether women getting abortions should be punished in this Youtube (embedding disabled).  Well worth the click if you haven't seen it.

It seems like many of them don't even think about the fact that their actions could have very real consequences.

powerful interviews.

Once Roe v Wade is overturned, and we make abortion illegal, then what should a woman who has an abortion be subject to under the law?  Most pro-fetus people interviewed didn't have an answer.

Now let's address the born children in America who go to sleep many nights on the floor, no bed, & no food.  Where is our focus on placing all those children that are in foster care or group homes in a loving environment, a home with parents.  Why aren't we screaming as loud and long for these children, the ones here, born and living in unhealthy conditions perhaps with drug addicted parents.

Please remember our social services are being cut, probably as I type, so there isn't enough of that to ensure the born child's rights.

Until we, as a society value ALL life then the horror that is abortion will continue.

We need to educate from an early age, and make ALL forms of contraception available with no questions asked.  Teach your children abstinence, but make sure they never have to face the choice.

It was our own moral failure and not any accident of chance, that while preserving the appearance of the Republic we lost its reality. - Marcus Tullius Cicero, statesman, orator, writer (106-43 BC)
