Sounds like fun! (4.00 / 3)
And since I'm a total geek, I should do really well ;-)

Updated (0.00 / 0)
State Reps. Fox and Shapiro have signed on as co-hosts.

I would love to come (4.00 / 1)
But since I can't (the plane ticket would be a tad expensive), can I put together some suggested quiz questions if I donate the entrance fee?

The question is not what you are, we already determined that, we are now negotiating price.

Congrats to Himes & Dodd, re: Lamont's ActBlue endorsement! (0.00 / 0)
Fightin' Irish team (0.00 / 0)
Anyone want to join my Fightin' Irish team?  Even if you're not from the ould sod, we can deputize you as Irish for the day with a pint of Smithwicks...

Teams so far (4.00 / 1)
Swing State Project
Spazeteam (still recruiting)
Team Saramerica (still recruiting)
Fightin' Irish Team (still recruiting)
Caffeine Fiends (still recruiting)

JamesL of Swing State Project sounds pretty confident that the SSP team will win the quiz.  From his post promoting the event:

The Swing State Project, led by people-powered prophet DavidNYC, will be fielding a full team for the pub quiz, and we intend to take no prisoners.  If you're brave enough to challenge us, and want to gauge your cranial repository for its supply of dusty political trivia, I encourage you to join one of the other blogs' teams (or form an impromptu one at the event).  They'll need all the help they can get.

DavidNYC's team came in second at the YearlyKos pub quiz (Our own CFL team finished just out of the top ten).  SSP will be a tough team to beat but I have no doubt that every other team is prepared to take them on!

Speaking of CFL I'd love to see them represented as well.  Will DocOrman, Sue, and Jon Kantrowitz hear the call of victory?

Blogger Co-Hosts (4.00 / 1)
CaptCT and Aldon Hynes have also agreed to serve as blogger co-hosts.

My team has three members so far.  How's everyone else doing?

I've got 2 (4.00 / 3)
besides me, that is. Except I think Maura was trying to poach one of mine while I was at synagogue repenting yesterday - I still haven't heard from him to see if his Irish or Saramerican roots are pulling stronger ;-)

Irish roots'll win out. :-) (4.00 / 1)
I haven't heard back from him either...and he's scrupulously fair, so I suspect he'll say "yes" to whoever got to him first.  But we Micks stick together when it counts.  :-)

We could always share him and let him play two rounds with each team.

We Micks do stick together.. (0.00 / 0)
That's why this one is sticking with Sarah Mary Margaret O'Darer Littman of County Roscommon, Connecticut!
