Lieberman Spending 9/11 With Ann Coulter

by: bigdavefromqueens

Thu Sep 06, 2007 at 00:02:33 AM EDT

(This has been confirmed... Lieberman will be spending 9/11 this year not with his constituents in Connecticut, but with Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, and assorted other frothing wingnuts at Six Flags Great Adventure, raising money for Oliver North's fraudulent "Freedom Alliance" 501(c)3. Apparently Hannity has been promoting Lieberman's presence at this concert for weeks. Coulter, of course, did endorse Lieberman last year. - promoted by tparty)

On Tuesday September 11, 2007 Joe Lieberman will be in Jackson, New Jersey for several hours at Sean Hannity's Fascism concert which exploits troops by diverting money into an Oliver North connected slush fund called the Freedom Alliance.

On stage are several invited guests.  They include vile, hateful bigots like Bob Grant and Mark Levin, Oliver North of course, Rudy Giuliani, Joe Lieberman, and Ann Coulter.

Coulter is perhaps the most evil woman in America, having blamed Jews for the Holocaust, advocating the murder of billions across the globe, calling 9/11 widows harpies who enjoyed seeing their husbands die, and asserting that her only regret about Timothy McVeigh is that he didn't blow up the New York Times building.

If there were any questions about Joe Lieberman's sanity and independence, Joe Lieberman's attendance at this concert (on 9/11 no lesss) with Ann Coulter should be the final nail in the coffin.  This information should also be used in the Collins Senate race in Maine to show how extreme and elitist both Senators are.

Please do what you all do well in letting the great people of Connecticut know about this.

Update (by tparty): Here's the full guest list from WABC's website:

Update 2 (also by tparty): Joe seemed pretty psyched about this during his appearance on Hannity's radio show from August 21st (mp3):

Hannity: "And I think we're going to see you on September 11th... I think, uh, if you don't have a vote, you will be with us..."

Lieberman: "If I don't have a vote I will be with you, and I can't wait."

If true, someone needs to bring a video camera there.

listened to hannity in the car (4.00 / 2)
said it today, said it the other day I was channel surfing.

You have my word.

Joe Lieberman and George Bush believe that our govt should cut and run on capturing Osama Bin Laden so that Bush and the neocons could invade Iraq. Despite no Wmds and no links to 9/11, Lieberman supports that decision.

If this is seriously true (0.00 / 0)
I know what my next column is about.

There are few people I hate with a passion, but Ann Coulter is one of them. She is a despicable  woman.

If This Is True (4.00 / 1)
If this is true, not only does it warrant being featured in your column, but I would hope that GT/Advocate also would run a story about it -- prominently placed on the front page. [Hope springs eternal.]

hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! (4.00 / 1)
Yes, and someday, pigs might fly....:-)

This comment (0.00 / 0)
widened the sidebar on the main page.  I really wish SoapBlox would truncate or wrap comment long "one-word" titles.

Oh well.

isn't there a max limit somewhere for display (0.00 / 0)
that can be set in the software?

I was wondering what went wonky.. but I use Opera so sometimes thinks don't work 'just so' :(

It's a rare and special case (4.00 / 1)
where the comment title is an unbroken string of characters that it effs up the sidebar.

There's a guy who used to post his headings with underscores between the words instead of spaces (he did so for emphasis, I guess) and it widened the sidebar.

Also, it's one of those "problems" that is pretty temporary because only the most recent 10 comments stay on the front page.  The original comment was at the #10 spot, which is why I replied to it, bumping it off the front page.

So one way to fix it is to set some sort of limit in SoapBlox, but I think the better way is to encourage more community participation.  ;)

If the comments were getting posted here at a furious pace, nothing could mess up the front page layout for long -- plus the community would be richer for it.

Any thoughts on why comments have been so dead here lately?  I've been wondering...

Just want to expose them for their true colors.

And this surprises anyone... (4.00 / 2)
because? Hanging out with slime like Hannity and Coulter must be Joe's idea of bi-partisanship. Makes me ill.

I Hope all CT Dems will be........... (0.00 / 0)

even use the DNC's LTTE tool.

Letters (0.00 / 0)
Very helpful comment.  I simply would add that The Courant (like The New York Times) only accepts letters sent solely to its paper; most of the other CT publications are happy to print letters that also appear in other papers.

speaking of the DNC, (0.00 / 0)
are you familiar with their Party Builder tool?  Here are some groups in Ct that have formed Liberal blogs and are looking for more members.

http://www.democrats...=

(down at bottom right.)

(from the original email:

Tens of thousands of Democrats are already members of PartyBuilder, a group of tools on Democrats.org that puts control of the Democratic Party in the hands of people like you in all fifty states.

Yesterday we asked people who already use PartyBuilder to join or create a virtual group to organize their county online. We made great progress, and now many counties have an organized group of Democrats online that are talking to each other, planning events, and strategizing for 2008. Think of it as a digital 50-State Strategy.

Can you sign on and join a group with other Democrats in your county? We talk about a Democratic presence in everywhere -- now this is your chance to make that happen with PartyBuilder.

You can see if there's a group right here:

http://www.democrats...

But this just can't be!! (4.00 / 2)
Lieberman is a liberal and a life-long Democrat.  His voting record shows him to be a stalwart Democrat.  How could it be that he would hang out with such ardent right-wingers?

Perhaps someone should clue in Greenwich Time's editors, who said that Lieberman "represents the best of our local traditions and values."  Is hanging out with uber hate-mongeress Ann Coulter one of our local traditions?  Or is it one of our local values?

And, of course, the New York Times reporters say that Lieberman is "widely considered a centrist."  How could a centrist and a moderate be hanging with Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter?  Do you think they could tell us how this could be?

Can someone tell me how this was confirmed (0.00 / 0)
off list is fine.

Before I write about this, and call Lieberman's office to get a comment, I'd like to know my facts.

Mention "MyLeftNutmeg" in your bid and you automatically win them...(I'm lying).

the man who said it best (4.00 / 1)

I wonder if Annie is going to ask Lieberman about the Holocaust? And then whine about how the 9/11 widows are 'capitalizing' on the anniversary?

she gives whores a bad name.
