CNN are wankers

by: Matt Browner Hamlin

They project a Lieberman victory with 2% reporting. Prepare to eat crow, Wolf.

Lieberman: 8762
Lamont: 7160

Even if these numbers hold up with more reporting, I want to be the first to ask Ned Lamont not to concede. If all votes are tallied, Lamont will win.

To quote Stoller earlier today:

I'm confident of victory when all the votes are counted
Ned needs to repeat this.

Additionally, how can we trust a Lieberman victory with no resolution of his use of street money in the primary? What did Joe's campaign money go for in the general? Will he document his get out the vote expenditures?

Update
I'm not prepared to issue my post mortem, but Jane makes a great point here about the importance of Ned Lamont, Democratic nominee for Senate, that we cannot let this country forget:

But the wave of Democratic victory that is happening across the country would not be happening if the Lamont campaign did not step forward and change the narrative for Democrats.  Despite the fact that Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Bill and Hillary Clinton planted a big, fat knife in Lamont's back and sneered at Democratic voters, the the blue victories that are happening are a direct result of this battle.  The genie came out of the bottle and they could not put it back in.

That bothers me almost as much as Lieberman. It's early but if that holds up one has to ask WTF is wrong with Connecticut?

Courtney now 1% ahead (0.00 / 0)

I heard that too, that Johnson has conceded. But I haven't found anything online on it...I want it confirmed. I want to see video of her eating crow and I want to see Chris Murphy celebrating.
