The evidence keeps coming in that the key strategy for Connecticut for Lieberman's selfish, ego-driven campaign is driving up Republican turnout in November.

Now we find that Lieberman has hired the same pollster as Jodi Rell and Rob Simmons:

The Lieberman campaign has hired GOP pollster Neil Newhouse. Let's see who some of his GOP clients are: hmmmm, John Thune, Jeb Bush, Rick Santorum, and, what's this? CT Gov. Jodi Rell and Rob Simmons? Jodi Rell, who is being challenged by Democrat John DeStefano and CT-02 Rep. Rob Simmons, one of the Democrat's top targets this cycle?
Joe Lieberman, who has bemoaned the fact that Ned Lamont is going to be hurting Democrats in the other competitive races in Connecticut by running is actually going to be sharing polling data with other Connecticut GOP candidates! What's going to destroy Democrats chances in other races in Connecticut is the 300 lbs gorilla Lieberman campaign spending untold dollars on polling data that will help the GOP, a GOP voter focused GOTV effort and a Cheneyesque theme that Democrats can't keep the nation safe!

To try to keep his desperate hold on power, Lieberman will willingly destroy every Democrat's chances in November. No Democrat in Connecticut should allow him to get away with this.

...or Roy Occhiogrosso's Global Strategy Group, or rather Jonathan Silvan's.

Lieberman is not highlighted anymore though, as John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer, or the DNC are. Funny about that.

LIEberman's been helping Republicans for 18 years (0.00 / 0)

and Lieberman's hypocrisy, dishonesty, and furtive assistance to the GOP are the 3 biggest reasons Shays, Johnson, and Simmons are incumbents instead of challengers.

Joe Lieberman and George Bush believe that our govt should cut and run on capturing Osama Bin Laden so that Bush and the neocons could invade Iraq. Despite no Wmds and no links to 9/11, Lieberman supports that decision.

Look for Lieberman push polling (0.00 / 0)

Hiring a GOP pollster not only means voter information will be shared with all Connecticut GOP candidates, but I believe this effort will be coordinated with the RNCC.

Following the breadcrumbs, local bloggers believe the negative polls were paid for by the RNCC through the Terrance Group, who contracted with Western Wats, who in turn contracted with Mountain West Research Center. The RNCC paid $381k to the Terance Group for travel and polling according to FEC reports. These research firms may already be familiar to you.
Lieberman can easily decry any negative polling concerning Lamont if it comes from the RNCC. After all, he claims to be an independent candidate.

in fact they called me for Nancy Johnson about 1-2 years ago and the questions gradually got around to my opinion of her. Well I took the opportunity to tell them exactly how I felt about Nancy Johnson and specifically why. However, some of the multiple choice questions had very ambiguous answers or answers that could not adequately describe my position or opinion on a subject. I gave my own.

After the interview I immediately searched out their website hoping to see some of their work - nothing on the website. No past polls or body of work. I just wanted to see some of the results of that poll but I figured they would bury it if it was unfavorable and just clasify it as an "internal" poll. It stinks and now Joe is rolling around in the mud with all of the snakes. He can't hide from these alliances and it needs to be exposed who he represents now.
