We interrupt your regularly scheduled freakout at Lieberman's cowardly bolting of the party to bring you another update on the progress of the float. The heads are now completed and mounted on the truck, which is ready to be decorated. Pictures after the break.

You can practically see the sweat on Lieberman's brow as he contemplates losing the primary and running as an independent.

A little bit closer and you can see the fear in Lieberman's eyes as he prepares for his first debate with the man who Newsweek calls "uncharismatic" but Joe knows better.

Closer still and you can see the horror dawn on the Senator that he has signed a political death warrant by kissing President Chimp...but he secretly enjoys it anyway.

Well, I've had my fun. Now I need your help! If you have any spare empty cans lying around your house, bring them with you to the parade. I need them to complete the "Just (Politically) Married" motif. If you can, punch a hole in them and I can tie it to the back of the car.

Don't forget to bring your boom boxes to tune to the marching music. Also, bring any spare "kiss" buttons you have lying around. I know Keith is certain to bring as many as he can carry, but you can never have too many. I'll see you all there!

This is all very creative but I may be too busy phoning the party bigwigs to remind them that we will not think less of them if thry un-endorse Joe Lieberman and get their money back from this weasel.

I washed about 30 tall cat food cans tonight for you (0.00 / 0)

I punched a hole in them as well. They still smell a bit of cat food, but once they are in the open it should not matter, unless you are a cat or dog.
