Effing unbelievable.
Liar, hypocrite: Joe Lieberman.
The Senator did give me a big, genuine smile when I later spoke to Ken Dagliari and gave him a hug (one year anniversary of his Mom's death - and I like Ken).
Kim, can you please explain this picture? It would seem to show you, with Fiona on your shoulders, shaking hands with Joe Lieberman in the chummy presence of Lieberman chief aide Ken Dagliere, Republican Congresswoman Nancy Johnson, etc...
The blogosphere can appreciate collegial impulses, BUT, if you can't be fundamentally truthful, --should we entrust Hynes & Co. with out hopes and dreams?
The picture suggests a certain comraderie between yourself, Ken Dagliere, Nancy Johnson, Revoltin' Joe, and your self. Do you have a truthful defense?
Sigh!!
Since it was a hot morning, and Kim was focusing on other things we will probably never know.
Personally, I hope we can all focus on the task at hand of Ned visibility and identifying voters.
Yes, a picture is indeed worth 1000 words.
Joe and Friends
Full Disclosure: these are all real photos, no manipulation or PhotoShop trickery. My personal favorite is the one with Barney - two Dinos standing together.
I must have several hundred of these pics by now, some of them quite raw indeed. These are relatively tame though.
Btw, dodd was also in that Barney shot.
I was at the Redding parade and Dick Blumenthal marched with Chris Shays and Judi Freedman (Republican State Senator). They were walking together.
It is unheard of for politicians of rival parties to march together. Mr. Blumenthal was wrong to march with the Republicans, especially Chris Shays who has engendered so much animosity in this part of the state, and whose seat is of crucial importance if the Democrats are to retake the Congress and restore some semblance of political sanity and fiscal responsibility to that body.
We Democrats are tired of the excuses from Democratic politicians who continue to pander to the Republicans' Hard Right. Democratic leaders need to understand the zeitgeist of the country and their supporters.
No more excuses.

Then I read Leiberman's response...
and I thought...
Better farme...
Frame:
Joe Lieberman has indicated that he walked with Johnson in Waterberry because they were both elected officials. That seems to be a dran good reason for him to stand side-by-side with every elected member of the GOP. He got a kiss from President Bush, because he walks side-by-side with the GOP on most issues. He likes walking side-by-side with the GOP, either literally or figurativly. He could have choosen to walk with Democrats, there was no order that he walk with the GOP. He choose to. Just like he has on the energy bill, the Alito and Roberts nominations, school vouchers, elimination of scoail security, bankrupcy bill, and a host of other issues in which he remains out-of-step with the Democrats, but walks the GOP line, hand-in-hand with the Bush plan. Of course he deserves a kiss. The question is not what you are, we already determined that, we are now negotiating price.electrealdemocrats.com Online since 3/07 -- TimetogoJoe.com Online s
