Rob Simmons Can Own This One Too

by: Connecticut Man1

Tue Jan 05, 2010 at 15:48:21 PM EST

In the GOP rush to win over the Tea Party there is plenty of crazy baggage that they will have to take responsibility for.

And you and the entire GOP own this one too, Robbie:

Via BarbinMD, we catch a glimpse into the mind of a "Man of Faith" and, yes, a Tea Party leader:
Connecticut Man1 :: Rob Simmons Can Own This One Too
But that's not just your typical, nameless, racist teabagger, that's the face of Dale Robertson, the head of teaparty.org., and the man who is devoted to "developing strategy to bring the Republic back under the control of 'We The People.'"

The GOP can own them all...
"We love the tea party movement. We know the tea party movement is a group of people that Republicans are going to have to actively work with them and get them involved in their campaigns, and we have to have an agenda that brings them to our side."
- NRCC's Guy Harrison

You wanted them...
"Well, it's embrace the tea party movement with full arms and hold as many open forums as they possibly can to bring people in and listen to them because the leadership right now is truly coming from the tea party movement because it is disaffected Democrats, Independents, Republicans. It's really people who love the country and who brace what ultimately has been the mission statement of the Republican Party. If you look at the two parties, Democrat and Republican, there's no question that the heartbeat of the tea party movement would be more in line with the mission state of the Republican party certainly than that of the Democrat party. So if the Republican Party is wise, they will allow themselves to be re-defined by the tea party movement. And I hope that that will be the case."
- Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R- MN)

You got them...
"We need to stop looking at the tea parties as separate from the Republican party, If we do that, we can stand up and create the biggest tent of all."
- Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC)

Ok GOP... You can embrace them, work with them, drag them under your "Big Tent", carry them Teabagrrrs in your pocket.

Because nobody will ever view them "as separate from the Republican party" and we will never, never ever, want them on the left. They have proven to be way too radical and insane.

Take all their money too, since that is what you really want them for. Same way the GOP used the Christianists as an ATM machine. These people are and always have been the GOP's since the days the GOP opened their arms to the bigoted Dixiecrats, anyways....

I wonder... (0.00 / 0)
... If we can find any teabagrrrrs like that in Connecticut? From ctblogger:

From the Republican extremist mob who came out to scream their anti-anything Obama hysteria at Congressman Chris Murphy, here's one video of one protester who expressed his true feelings about your's truly (a.k.a the only African-American person at the event).

Well? That wasn't too hard. Point a camera into any teabagrrr crowd across the nation and you are certain to find the fringiest insanity this nation has to offer.
