Check out the New NBC/WSJ Poll (0.00 / 0)
http://www.msnbc.msn...

The guy who made the decision to put NYC civil defense Emergency Headquaters in the Twin Towers AFTER the first attack and AGAINST the advice of his Terror experts in the NYPD has zero credibility on anything to do with terrorism.

Rudy just proved again he's an asshole and Oberman buried him.

Obama, Clinton, Edwards respond (0.00 / 0)
Good for Keith Olbermann -- and Obama, Clinton and Edwards -- for throwing Rudy's statements right back in his face. It's important to push back when neoNuts like Giuliani spew such garbage.

Remember, 9/11 happened on the watch of a Republican Mayor (Giuliani himself) and a Republican President. In fact, I  don't think the radios of the police and fire department, which were a problem back in '93 and which failed on 9/11, have been fixed yet.

From the NY Times:

Mr. Obama released these comments:

Rudy Giuliani today has taken the politics of fear to a new low and I believe Americans are ready to reject those kind of politics. America's mayor should know that when it comes to 9/11 and fighting terrorists, America is united. We know we can win this war based on shared purpose, not the same divisive politics that question your patriotism if you dare to question failed policies that have made us less secure. I think we should focus on strengthening our intelligence, working with local authorities and doing all the things we haven't yet done to keep Americans safe. The threat we face is real, and deserves better than to be the punchline of another political attack."

Guiliani knows terrorism all right.. (0.00 / 0)
ever since he threw Sheik Omar Abdul Rachman into jail in a very public showboating manner.. which was a catalyst for the first trade center bombing in 1993.

I didn't see him running into any buildings on 9/11. His career was in the toilet then, and that's where it'll wind up.. back in the canner.

he's horrible.
