Kucinich: Impeach? Yes or No (POLL)

by: Connecticut Man1

Mon Mar 26, 2007 at 13:13:14 PM EDT

Watch it, think about it, and respond to it.

Impeach for Peace wants you to tell Kucinich what you think:

Respond to this video question from Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) via comments, e-mails, letters and most importantly a DIY Impeachment petition of memorial.

Call Rep. Dennis Kucinich at 202-225-5871 or E-MAIL REP. KUCINICH.

We report... You decide.

Chuck Hagel talks impeachment BELOW THE FOLD and via Saramerica.

Connecticut Man1 :: Kucinich: Impeach? Yes or No (POLL)
"Any president who says, I don't care, or I will not respond to what the people of this country are saying about Iraq or anything else, or I don't care what the Congress does, I am going to proceed - if a president really believes that, then there are - what I was pointing out, there are ways to deal with that," said Sen Chuck Hagel R - Nebraska.

Oooh! Tell me more Chuckie!! I love it when Senators actually speak as if they have (gasp) balls. Or a scrotum, to use the word a certain subsector of librarians loves to hate.

"He's not accountable anymore, which isn't totally true. You can impeach him, and before this is over, you might see calls for his impeachment. I don't know. It depends on how this goes," Hagel says in an interview in the April edition of Esquire magazine.

A far-right-wingnut (and make no mistake on this, he is a wingnut on ALMOST every other issue) talking impeachment.

You have a choice (4.00 / 1)
1) impeach Bush/Cheney now.
2) expose the GOP for what it is and destroy the GOPs chances of holding the reins of power for the next 40 years

Which do you want to do?

I too want #1 so bad I can taste it, but (and this is a big but) am I willing to fogo that to ensure that the GOP is so tarred and feathersed by the exposure of their misdeeds that the will be a minority party for the balance of my lifetime? Yes!

To ensure that they are unable to rule for the next 40 years because they have been exposed as the people that want to destroy our constitution, to ensure that all their dirty tricks are expose, so that people know that it was the GOP that tried to fix elections, that cheated to win elections, that phone jammed and approved of dirty tricks at the top of the party. That is rotten to the core and against the Constitution. That believes that corporations come before people, that profist are more important than workers, that believe that goverment is best when they destroy governments ability to work with the people, for the people and by the people. Yes, I am willing to let the worst President ever and his sidekick George walk away.

Well, they can walk away until we turn them over to the International Court and they get waterboarded a few times.

The question is not what you are, we already determined that, we are now negotiating price.

I understand your position BUT (0.00 / 0)
I think that impeaching bush and cheney will lead to the same result as investigating the hell out of the entire GOP.

They are already in a deathspin that has yet to bottom out and impeachment, IMHO, could easily be the final nail in the GOP coffin.

The difference between the two ways to kill the GOP? Impeaching them sends a message around the world that "We the People" do not accept their behavior and MAY help to restore some goddwill with the rest of the world.

Without impeachment we will never regain world trust.
