Aldon is live blogging the Libby trial

Aldon took off to DC last night on the 1 AM train from Stamford. I packed him enough clothing for three days, thinking that would be enough. However, one juror has been dismissed this AM for inappropriate contact with the outside world, and they are concerned about some others. Aldon's blog has gone down once today due to heavy traffic - but he's got it back up with several posts this morning already. After an exciting morning, which included a major rush on my server and a crash, things are very quite right now. People are typing, reading email, resting and waiting. I'll have more up when/if something exciting happens.

Coincidence?

I am at the courthouse where that Libby guy is being "judged," hanging out with Jane Hamsher in the media room, and the power just crashed. No, I am not kidding.

Wifi is up though!

So there are 25-30 reporters here (possibly more) typing away in the dark while they try and figure out why this courthouse is run like George Bush's Medicare prescirption drug program.
