Face To Face With Rowland-Rell

by: BranfordBoy

Fri Sep 22, 2006 at 16:00:51 PM EDT

From the DeStefano campaign:

The DeStefano campaign has announced that it has come to an agreement with the Rell campaign for two one-on-one televised debates between Democratic nominee John DeStefano and Governor Rell. Also agreed upon is a single one-on-one debate between the candidates for Lt. Gov., Mary Messina Glassman and Michael Fedele.

The DeStefano campaign also wants to participate in additional televised debates and forums with all candidates for governor. ... DeStefano is scheduled to participate in at least one candidate forum with the Green Party candidate.

Concerned Democrats,

Nancy Pelosi will be in Bridgeport tomorrow to talk about the Medicare "donut hole". Nancy Pelosi is the Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives. A Democrat, she is the first woman to lead a major political party in either house of Congress. She has represented California's 8th District since 1987 (it was numbered the 5th District until 1993).

The discussion will take place as follows:
2:30 pm - Saturday

City Hall Annex, Bridgeport
999 Broad Street, across from library

On a side note, if anyone wished to be removed from this list please let me know and I will make sure you don't receive any more emails. I will try to send emails as sparingly as possible.

Thanks,
Mike

I Heard on the radio, (0.00 / 0)
that Rell is not a great orator, so John has an advantage I hope he takes and runs with.  Remind people she has the same crew behind her that Rowland had.  Remind people she has not really done a thing here.  (And I am sick to death of everybody claiming they were the ones to save 31,000 jobs here in CT.  What about all those that have been lost????)
