This video was shot by Connecticut Network on February 14th, 2013 at the State Capitol in Hartford, CT. This date marked two months since the tragic events that occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT where 20 children and 6 adults lost their lives to senseless gun violence. Over 5000 people from all over the state and region came together to demand changes in our gun laws here in Connecticut and across the nation to reduce the gun violence that takes over 30,000 lives in the US each year.
