John Hartwell welcomes Amer Nimr and Jihad Mirza to Stream of Conscience to discuss the complex nature of the volatile region collectively referred to as The Middle East. Both guests were born in that region and both have a deep knowledge of the issues and ethnic makeup of countries that seem to be ever in conflict with each other and the outside world. Amer Nimr is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Jihad Mirza teaches history and Arabic and directs the Global Studies Program at Greens Farms Academy in Westport.
