Mommy didn't raise no dummies

by: Scarce

Cross-posted from Crooks and Liars.

Per Saramerica's diary below, Linda McMahon's new ad just screamed out for a mash-up so I had to oblige.

Oh I was just saying to Ted Mann on Twitter yesterday that (4.00 / 1)
I was waiting for this to happen :-)

Just wondering (0.00 / 0)
if someone from the McMahon campaign could confirm that the McMahon family has done anything for their hometown, Greenwich. Perhaps a contribution to the Audobon Center, a few bucks thrown to the teen center, the Red Cross, the Women's Center (where her mother plays bridge) - there are so many in Greenwich.....

It would behoove them to give to something other than issues involving politics - (check Huffington Post for contributions on both side of the political aisle), but I do know that Diana Ross got a bad name in the town for doing for the town until her teens grew up, and she suddenly noticed the Arch Street Teen Center.

Anybody listening from McMahon camp???? It's your chance to let Linda shine!!!! What have they done for their hometown??? I'm sure that they've also done charitable works in the city of Stamford, home of their business.

Battered women's shelters volunteered at? Soup kitchens slopped at? A few pennies for education at a local public school? Help me here, people.

Well, they are suddenly throwing a Halloween party for the (0.00 / 0)
Boys and Girls Club at the about to open Fairway in Stamford this weekend. And I heard that in order to celebrate their victory over Susie B, they're going to be giving out free WWE T-shirts at the polls on Tuesday - more than 75 feet away, of course.

How nice (0.00 / 0)
I remember this one. 20 years ago the Irishman who ran their huge Stamford supply warehouse/distribution center could only afford to send his son to the most inexpensive Catholic school in the area - where I taught at.

An unforgettable sight -  freckle face, Irish red-haired Brendon sitting in a sea of Haitian 4th graders (and that one non-English speaking Polish girl).  Makes me heart warm like a peat fire in a cold winters afternoon just thinkin' of it.

Linda may have inadvertently initiated integration in the Stamford parochial schools.

Forget the Greenwich Women's Club (0.00 / 0)
Linda's mom's bridge group just had to cancel their games there because the fees for playing got too high.

Linda's got other financial priorities than throwing good money at that place.

Nothing sadder than a homeless bridge group - anybody have suggestions?

there's also the Don Bosco Community Center (0.00 / 0)
it's not in Greenwich but right across the border in Portchester

friendly folks, good people.

I'm sure they'll set a table up for the ladies, no worries.
