Unfortunately, life goes on, even for teachers. Your spouse dies, you develop an illness, you have surgery, you care for a sick or aging parent, that mental illness which was  previously kept in check but got a tad aggressive - you know, life.

Hmmmm....

So if teachers let these matters affect their attendance or student test scores, they can also expect a pink slip.

We'll definitely get the cream of the crop as teachers in the next decade.
