The only reason for Malloy getting this nasty is he must have inside info. that he's behind and now he's desperate to win ... even tearing apart the Democratic Party doesn't matter to Malloy! Should he win, he will most likely lose the Lamont supporters and should he lose, the Republicans will use his lying ads against Lamont. A no win-win situation for either side!
Thanks to Malloy's campaign, should Dan win, I'll withhold my vote in Nov. because holding my nose won't be enough!
I'll mark my call sheet with a 5, indicating a Republican Supporter. However, I hope you have a change of mind and I see positive postings from you in the future. .
Given that Team Malloy is using that story to run ads saying "Ned was sued for discrimination", the Connecticut Press definitely ought to write about that settlement, with a focus not on the wayward teenager, but on Dan's attempt to cover it up, the settlement with city $$$, and of course Malloy's incredible gall in playing the race card with those TV ads.
It needn't be more complicated than that. And if CTKeith is screaming about Malloy's "kids" problem, it's only to hopefully get this issue to the fore in advance of the primary. (and he's right, the GOP would use this stuff to suppress Dem turnout in November.)
Where I'm at is if you don't use the kids names, nor pictures, and if the discussion is all about Dan Malloy, his character, and the politics of it all, -- that doesn't equate going after the family. Should American voters have known that Palin's teenager was about to have a baby out of wedlock? My feeling is yes, but the daughter's privacy should still be respected.
You mentioned something was covered up. And you are getting accurate information from where?
We know ctkieth would say ANYTHING that would make a point. He acts like Sean Hannity. Yet, do you really justify this? Palin and Lamont and Malloy all in a boat together.
As a parent, I learned a long time ago, that you should not throw stones at other people's children. No parent would like their child looked at too closely, by the wrong sort of people.
Spit into the wind and it will land back in your face. .
You keep calling people liars, but you have yet to show anything that proves they are wrong. If you can't, calling them liars is simply ... well, a lie.
$37,500 to the plaintiff, and $25,000 for the city's lawyers.
The argument was that the high school kids should have been suspended, but weren't b/c one of them was Mayor Malloy's son.
fwiw. And I think the bigger story is that Dan would run those ads with this skeleton in the closet. (kind of like Palin preaching about family values!)
You're right that I would say anything but please be honest and qualify that point with "as long as it's true and backed up by public records".
I'm sorry if you have a problem with truthful facts but you having that problem doesn't change the facts or the truth in those facts.
When you're ready to argue either of those things I promise I'll be available for that discussion but I won't hold my breath waiting.
