'I Am Running For The United States Senate'

by: Met00

He's back.

"I'm Rob Simmons. I am running for the United States Senate, because I love my country, and I don't like where it's going,"

Bad day for Linda McScum.

read the capsule at: TPM

He's baaaaack (0.00 / 0)
SO many cryptkeeper jokes come to mind...

I Wonder If He's Still (0.00 / 0)
carrying that teabag everywhere?

If so, here's something he can be proud of:
Calif. Tea Party to Use Dogs to Harass Muslim Worshippers

Tea Bag is gone for many months now... (0.00 / 0)
He said he was thirsty!

He's Replaced It (0.00 / 0)
I watched his interview with the Norwich Bulletin's editorial board today. Instead of pulling out a tea bag, he pulled out - I kid you not - his Vietnam campaign ribbons, like they were just pulled from his dusty old uniform.

Does he qualify as a Prop Politician?

A nice list of votes (0.00 / 0)
Simmons on deregulation bills, outrageous war spending and etc. that got the country "where it's going" would be some fine whine to go with that cheese...

Only One Counts (0.00 / 0)
Call me fickle, call me stuck in the past, whatever, but there's only one vote that I need to consider before voting for the guy.

Any politician that was blinded by rhetoric and deafened by the drumbeat of Bush's march to illegally invade a country will never get my vote, and should never be re-elected for any public office.

Does he really think he can win? (0.00 / 0)
"If there is one thing Republican voters love, it's a flip-flopping opportunist"

?

Yes He Can Win (4.00 / 1)
If conservative Republicans vote for Schiff, and moderate Republicans with any sense of honor and integrity refuse to vote for Linda, he could win the nomination.

Q poll had McMahon 53 Simmons 20 (0.00 / 0)
...a couple of weeks ago. Simmons is more likely looking to damage McMahon now and enhance himself for 2012. Seems an odd strategy, to say the least. I wonder if Schiff even gets the 8% he got in the Q poll.

2012? (0.00 / 0)
He'll be 107 by then, won't he?
