Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy meets with supporters for Danbury Democratic mayoral candidate Gary Goncalves Sunday.

Yesterday, while attending a breakfast fundraiser for Danbury Democratic mayoral candidate Gary Goncalves I had an opportunity to talk Dan Malloy, who came from Stamford to offer his support for the local ticket.

From his thoughts on immigration (remember, he was in Danbury), health care, the current events surrounding the lack of a state budget, to numerous failures of the Rowland-Rell administration, in my interview with the man who wants to be the next governor, Malloy didn't hold back when it came to his thoughts of the state of affairs in Connecticut.

This was good to hear some of the things he had to say, I continue to grow more and more impressed with Malloy compared to the rest of the field.  He's definitely been first out of the gate and not been afraid to point out the ridiculousness of Rell.
