My Left Nutmeg

Opposite Day

by: Scarce

Fri Aug 07, 2009 at 22:22:47 PM EDT

Another day, another Connecticut blogger has his video featured on MSNBC's Countdown, with Keith Olbermann. This time ctblogger's video about that Anthem yahoo in Simsbury.

In this instance, Princeton University's Melissa Harris-Lacewell, although a professor of political science, sounds more like a child psychologist wearing her "mommy hat", as she explains why some some people blatantly lie when they're confronted about their protest.

Fantastic job CT Blogger (4.00 / 1)
I think it's a shame Olbermann didn't have a stronger commentator following it up. I thought the professor's comment's trivialized the incidents.

I wouldn't say trivialized (4.00 / 1)
I think that she hit upon these people as not behaving rationally and why this was, was completely appropriate. That she did so in a light, even-handed way as more a pop psychologist or social scientist rather than simply from a partisan political perspective was a welcome change I thought.

But where the hell is Simsbury, Colorado?

As long as Dodd is at the forefront (0.00 / 0)
of the healthcare debate these opportunities are are going to be everywhere.

This footage is even better than the footage of mine, since everyone knows there are a lot of crazies in the right wing, now. What many still haven't figured out is who is behind all of the crazies.
