"It is time for health care reform in Connecticut"

With health care was the minds of many yesterday at the Capitol, lawmakers and advocates from across the state hand-delivered two health care bills to the governor's office for her stamp of approval.

According to the proponents of the legislation, the two bills, HB 6582: An act establishing the CT healthcare partnership and HB 6600: An act concerning the establishment of the Sustinet plan will FINALLY make health care affordable to residents in the state.

As someone who's followed this topic throughout this year's session of the General Assembly, on Tuesday, I made the trek to the State Capitol to witness the historic event.
