The arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice. --Martin Luther King, Jr.

Shays is hiding from Jim Himes and the Voters (0.00 / 0)
Only six debates, when he debated Diane Farrell eleven times two years ago.  And instead of beginning the debates in September to give voters time to absorb what the candidates are about, Shays has crammed all six into seven days!

That's a cheap campaign tactic designed to substantially minimize the impact of the debates on voters.  And it's a tactic to try to avoid scrutiny as long as possible, and to avoid having to answer for his ridiculous comments and behavior the past two years.  Will any of the panelists ask him about his bizarre physical and verbal assault on a capitol police officer last July?  How much scrutiny will his repeated calls for private accounts for Social Security draw?  How 'bout his assertion on July 10 that we should raise Social Security taxes on wage earners and employers by 16% and put it all into private accounts?

He's running and hiding, and this debate schedule shows it!
